Our Admissions

Uganda School for the Deaf admits children from 3 to17 years who are first assessed by ENT doctors in the government referral hospital and a placement assessment done by the school assessment team. Children are then enrolled into pre-school and primary school and others are referred to the suitable institutions where their needs can be catered for.

Admission or referral

Once admitted, a list of requirements is given to the parent/caregiver and then a reporting date is confirmed with the parents, according to the Ministry of Education and sports Primary Schools’ calendar
